Submissions
Everything goes through the conference portal. You may be a co-author on any number of papers but presenting author on only one, so that the programme stays workable.
-
Create a portal account
Step one
Register at submit.icss2027.org with your institutional email and ORCID iD. Co-authors are added by ORCID and receive a confirmation notice; they do not need accounts of their own.
-
Upload the abstract
Step two
Choose a track and a submission type, then paste a structured abstract of 250–300 words under the headings Purpose, Method, Findings and Contribution. Add up to five keywords and a two-line author biography for the programme.
-
Await the decision
Step three
Abstract decisions are returned by 20 December 2026 with a short editorial note. Accepted authors then register by 15 January to hold their place on the programme.
-
Submit the full paper, if you want the proceedings
Step four
Anonymised manuscript by 6 February; two referee reports by 6 March; camera-ready copy with the CC BY licence by 20 March. Revisions are handled in the portal, not by email.
-
Upload slides or poster
Step five
16:9 PDF slides by 10 April. Posters are A1 portrait; boards, clips and printing in central London can be arranged through the secretariat.
