Fees are in pounds sterling and include VAT. Presenting authors must register by 15 January 2027; papers without a registered presenting author are withdrawn from the programme.

What the fee covers

  • Access to all sessions, in the room and on the stream
  • Programme book and abstract volume
  • Two lunches and all refreshment breaks
  • Wednesday welcome reception
  • Thursday gala dinner (in-person registrations)
  • Certificate of presentation or attendance
  • Plenary recordings for twelve months

Payment

  • Card payment through the portal, or bank transfer on request
  • Institutional purchase orders accepted; quote the delegate reference
  • VAT invoices issued automatically on payment
  • Bank charges on transfers are payable by the sender
  • Student rate requires a scanned enrolment letter dated within six months

Cancellation

  • Full refund, less £30 administration, until 20 February 2027
  • 50% refund until 20 March 2027
  • No refund after 20 March; a substitute delegate may take your place free of charge
  • Switching from in-person to online is possible until 1 April, with the difference refunded

Bursaries and visas

  • Twenty fee waivers for doctoral researchers and delegates from low- and middle-income countries
  • Apply in the abstract form; decisions with abstract results
  • Signed visa invitation letters within five working days of payment
  • Request letters before 1 February to allow appointment time

Practical

  • Where to stay

    Three Bloomsbury hotels hold rooms for delegates until 1 March at £129–£185 per night, all within a ten-minute walk. Booking codes are sent with the registration confirmation. University halls at £62 per night are available for student delegates.

  • Access

    Step-free access throughout, hearing loops in all session rooms, live captioning on the stream, and a quiet room on the first floor. Tell us your requirements at registration and the office will confirm arrangements in writing.

  • Childcare

    A registered crèche operates on all three days for children aged one to eight, at £20 per day. Twelve places, allocated in order of request.
