This notice explains what Ninth International Conference on Social Sciences does with personal data, and what you can do about it.
Who is responsible
Ninth International Conference on Social Sciences decides why and how your data is used, and is the controller of it. Contact: office@icss2027.org.
iConf.me provides the software this website runs on and acts only on the conference's instructions. It is a processor and does not use your data for its own purposes.
What is collected, and why
- If you submit a paper: your name, email address, affiliation, country and any ORCID you give, together with your manuscript and the details of every author you list. This is needed to run peer review and to tell you the outcome.
- If you review: your name, email address, subject areas, and the reviews you write.
- Everyone: a session cookie so the site remembers you are signed in. No advertising or analytics cookies are set.
Who else sees it
Reviewers see submitted papers. Where the conference reviews anonymously, they do not see who wrote them. Reviews are shared with the programme committee and, in part, with authors at decision time. Nothing is sold or shared for marketing.
How long it is kept
For as long as the conference needs it to run and to keep a record of its own decisions, and for at least 12 months after the event so that queries about a decision can be answered.
Your rights
You can see what is held about you, take a copy of it, correct it, or ask for it to be deleted, at any time and without giving a reason. Everything is on your data page and takes one click; you do not have to email anybody.
Deleting your account removes you. It does not delete papers you submitted, because your co-authors have a stake in them and the conference has a record of its own decisions — your name and contact details are removed from them instead. The page says exactly what will happen before you confirm.
